The wisdom of AI

I recently obtained an access to the last network of Open AI called GPT-3. This is maybe the most powerful tool for any Natural Language Processing task, from classification, to the generation of new content. Is it is explained in this video, people used it for a lot of things: chatbot, code generation, and used it to do something even more incredible: a network that can draw anything it is told to draw (see DALL-E website).

I decided to use my beta access to use this tool very wisely, and build a Shitty quotes about life generator. The reason for this is that I have this theory that you can compare life to anything and always find an analogy that makes sense. We all know "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get" and "Life is like a book, it is told in chapters, and you cannot embrace the next chapter until you close the current one".

It is actually very easy to make it work with GPT-3: I just start a text with three Shitty quotes about life, so the AI knows what I want, then I ask it to do quotes about words I give it. An example of input looks like this:

1. A Book
2. A Mirror
3. A Piano
4. A Banana
5. A Snow Tiger
6. Donald Trump

1. Life is like a book, it is told in chapters, and you cannot embrace the next chapter until you close the current one. ###
2. Life is like a mirror. Smile at it and it smiles back at you. ###
3. Life is like a piano. What you get out of it depends on how you play it. ###
4. Life is like

Then, the AI will complete it with new quotes starting with "Life is like". To make it look like something your aunt would share on Facebook, I made a small script that picks the first image on Google Image and write the quote on top of this image.
The results are very good. Sometimes it makes sense, sometimes not, but most of the time, it is very funny. Some of them probably already exist, and the AI only copy-pasted them, but that is definitely not the case of every quote. I let you admire the results, and vote for the ones you like. On my side, I will find many other ways to have fun with GPT-3!
